API Terms of Use

1. Licence Grant

ShipSherpa grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use approved APIs for the Customer's internal business purposes.

2. Credential Control

API credentials must be kept confidential, rotated when compromised and never shared outside authorised environments.

3. Usage Rules

The user must not:

  • scrape supply-side intelligence
  • reverse engineer pricing logic
  • recreate marketplace workflows
  • create competing shadow systems
  • exceed fair use thresholds
  • bypass authentication
  • misuse webhooks

4. Technical Controls

ShipSherpa may apply:

  • throttling
  • rate limits
  • webhook retry caps
  • key rotation
  • IP restrictions
  • anomaly-based suspension

5. Availability

Unless covered by enterprise SLA, APIs are provided on an as-available and as-evolving basis.

6. Versioning

ShipSherpa may deprecate endpoints on reasonable notice.

7. Suspension

Immediate suspension rights apply for abuse, data misuse, unpaid invoices, security concerns or legal risk.

8. IP

All API schemas, documentation, route logic, pricing outputs and data structures remain ShipSherpa intellectual property.
