How ShipSherpa uses cookies and similar tracking technologies.
These terms bind everyone who visits a ShipSherpa website or web application.
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, on shipsherpa.co.uk and the signed-in areas of the service: customer accounts, driver onboarding, tracking pages and guest booking links.
Strictly necessary. These keep you signed in, protect your session, hold a booking together while you complete it, and defend the site against cross-site request forgery. The service does not work without them, so they are set without asking. They are also how we remember your cookie choice.
Analytics. These tell us which pages are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve the service. We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. These are set only if you accept them.
Advertising. Where we run advertising, we may measure which adverts led to a booking. These are set only if you accept them, and until you do we ask our providers not to store advertising identifiers at all.
Google Maps loads on pages with an address field, to look up and confirm addresses. It may set cookies of its own when it does.
Anything that is not strictly necessary is set only after you accept it. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you do not have to accept anything to book a delivery.
You can change your mind at any time. Reopen the cookie settings control on the site to change or withdraw your choice, or clear the cookies in your browser and we will ask again on your next visit.
Our consent banner is provided by CookieYes, which records your choice. Google supplies Tag Manager, Analytics and Maps. The banner lists the cookies each of them sets and how long each one lasts.
We may add or change providers as the service develops. The banner is updated when we do, and you can ask us for the current list at support@shipsherpa.co.uk.
